With a free card on Spike TV last night, UFC succeeded in putting on a great show for the fans.  In the first fight, The Korean Zombie, Chan Sung Jung, avenged his loss to Leonard Garcia.  Garcia looked very good in the first round, using much better technique than usual to go with his swing for the fences punching style.  Garcia was winning the round until he was taken down by Jung who ended up, after landing a few huge knees, with Garcia's back as the round ended.  In the second round  the two fighters traded and Jung ended up on top again and with 20 seconds left in the fight tapped out Garcia with a little know twister submission.  The first time a fight was ever won with that move in UFC history.

In the second fight Amir Sadollah stopped DaMarques Johnson with strikes.  In the first round Sadollah took a little bit of a beating early on but ended up on top at the end.  A great start to the fight and a round that could have gone either way.  In the second round Johnson looked completely gassed and Amir laid it on him, taking mount and forcing a stoppage via elbows.

The third fight of the evening pitted Anthony Johnson against Dan Hardy.  A war of words leading up to this fight promised fireworks, but someone forgot to light that fuse.  The fight was a boring affair with a soundtrack of boos from the crowd, as Johnson repeatedly took advantage of Hardy's TERRIBLE takedown defense.  It was total Johnson dominance the entire fight.  This is Dan Hardy's third straight loss and if Hardy wants to keep it from going to four he is going to have to evolve and start learning to wrestle.

In the main event Phil "Mr. Wonderful" Davis fought Antonio Rogerio Nogueria.  The first round saw Lil Nog stuff all of Davis's shot attempts and keep the fight standing.  With a clear advantage in the stand up Nogueria won an unexciting round with strikes, landing a few good ones.  Finally after switching from double leg takedown attempts to a single leg Davis was able to get Lil Nog to the ground where he stole the round at the end by taking Nogueria's back and landing some good ground and pound.  An early takedown in round 3 pretty much sealed the victory for Davis as he was able to keep the top for most of the round and won the unanimous decision victory.
